XLVets Skillnet are hosting a "Castration & Behaviour: Should castration be recommended and if so, when?" webinar on Thursday 22nd May 2025, online via Zoom. The view on castration has changed considerably in the last 10 years. Neutering is an emotional subject and everyone has a view including the client. In this webinar speaker Sue McCabe will discuss the pros and cons of castration and present the most recent research on the subject.

Sue McCabe B.Soc.Sc. M.A. APDT UK KCAI CD A* PPGBI ABTC QIDTI RCDTBP Head trainer, behaviourist and owner of Muttamorphosis Dog Training & Behaviour
Sue McCabe is an experienced dog trainer and founder of Muttamorphosis (est. 2005), with over 30 years of experience in training, behaviour, and rescue work. She holds a Certificate in Intermediate Canine Psychology from the Animal Care College and, in 2016, achieved KCAI Companion Dog Advanced status. Sue is a fully assessed member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers UK (since 2007), the Animal Behaviour & Training Council, and a full member of the Pet Professional Guild (since 2017). She is also a Qualified International Dog Training Instructor and a registered member of the Registration Council for Dog Training and Behaviour Practitioners. A regular voice on local radio, Sue shares insights on dog behaviour and training. Her writing has appeared in national press, industry publications, and online platforms. She has trained dogs and cats for TV productions, and her own dogs have qualified for Crufts every year since 2016
